{"id":548,"date":"2010-12-27T13:35:25","date_gmt":"2010-12-27T13:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nusum.wordpress.com\/?p=548"},"modified":"2024-08-12T13:11:44","modified_gmt":"2024-08-12T13:11:44","slug":"busy-busy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/strategyguy.com\/NuSum\/2010\/12\/27\/busy-busy\/","title":{"rendered":"Busy, busy"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_556\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File:Protein_crystals_grown_in_space.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-556\" class=\"size-full wp-image-556\" title=\"Protein_crystals_grown_in_space_horiz_crop\" src=\"http:\/\/nusum.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/protein_crystals_grown_in_space_horiz_crop.jpg\" alt=\"Protein_crystals_grown_in_space_horiz_crop\" width=\"600\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/strategyguy.com\/NuSum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/protein_crystals_grown_in_space_horiz_crop.jpg 900w, https:\/\/strategyguy.com\/NuSum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/protein_crystals_grown_in_space_horiz_crop-300x240.jpg 300w, https:\/\/strategyguy.com\/NuSum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/protein_crystals_grown_in_space_horiz_crop-768x614.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-556\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (NASA-MSFC) (NASA) via Wikimedia Commons<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Just for fun I thought I would share some of what has crossed my desk recently:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>designing knowledge exchange networks for public health, several client projects and\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/nusum.wordpress.com\/about\/articles-and-stuff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my essay on the topic<\/a><\/li>\n<li>meeting new people like <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/JeffAshcroft\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeff Ashcroft<\/a> of CMO fame,<\/li>\n<li>practicing education from both sides of the podium,(Algon and DAL)<\/li>\n<li>rebuilding the rowanwood.ca brand, (not quite finished yet,<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/Cedgell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> @Cedgell <\/a>is helping out)<\/li>\n<li>visioning emergent networks and business models<\/li>\n<li>helping out with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.connexscience.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ConnexScience<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is more&#8230; lots of irons in the fire, and a good feeling in the air.\u00a0 In the new year I will be studying usability at DAL\u00a0 helping to design knowledge support mechanisms for AAFC, and hosting #govchat.<\/p>\n<p>Being busy means that I could use some help,\u00a0 part-time paid virtual help.\u00a0 There are a couple of roles that could be undertaken by different people:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Research assistant<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/jesgood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@jesgood<\/a> is doing an awesome job for me in this regard but I suspect he will be busy with other things in the near future.\u00a0 This is s good job for an experienced graduate looking to make\u00a0 a few bucks while learning about cool stuff.\u00a0 Must be curious, reliable and organized.\u00a0 Topics and work load will vary depending upon what we are working on at the moment.<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling assistant<br \/>\nThis is s tough one, I think I need someone to watch my in box and manage my schedule with the odd bit of travel.
